A friend of mine once did a 20 page paper. Holy crap. I have no idea what he talked about for 20 freaking pages. Maybe something dirty or something like that. Haha, I'm terrible.

Another idea. Why is weed illegal? Really, I don't understand why it is. I feel that if drinking and cigarettes are legal, why isn't weed? I would think that out of the three that drinking would actually be the most damaging and harmful. Hell, when you're drunk you don't know what you're doing. Look at all the ridiculous things people do when they're drunk. How many times a day do you hear about something stupid that involved drinking. Drunk driving has become an epidemic it seems. Do you ever hear of people doing such stupid things when they're high? How on earth is it LEGAL to get drunk, but not legal to get high? I mean, it's not like people never do stupid things when they're high, but come on, not like drunk people do.

I want to look more into the religion thing. I was just looking through my bible for a verse about homosexuality (Why do I have a bible with me anyhow? I suppose it came in handy today...but really.). I don't want to write about homosexuality, everyone wants to do that one way or the other it seems. Although it does interest me. More from the angle of how it makes me mad that people can't accept it.
Would you ever believe that I used to go to church every Sunday on my own and be a leader in my high school's bible club? I worked at a church camp too. Excellent time actually, minus how close-minded most of the people I worked with were. Th church's unaccepting ways always bothered me. Not that I think church is a bad thing, or christianity for that matter. I'm not anti-religion or anything. I just think a lot of it is hypocritical.
I'm rambling now...
So my topic.
How about book banning? Harry Potter specifically. That always made me mad that people honestly tried to ban those wonderful books.
I actually like that topic the most. Yeaaah.
So, you've got Catholics changing art, why is weed illegal? Why aren't people more accepting of homosexuals? and why is or what is the effect of (? or explaining the phenomenon of) banning Harry Potter from being read? You know at first I, too, liked the Harry Potter being banned idea, but the more I think about it, the reason why people aren't more tolerant of homosexuals is an interesting topic too. It could dig into reasons for homophobia? or how people can overcome homophobia and/or intolerance??? Might be hard to research, though, but it sounds possible. Harry Potter too I guess. Why is weed illegal is done to death. let that go.
